The men's soccer team dropped a Region III match in Utica Wednesday evening 3-1 against Mohawk Valley CC. William Rupakis (New Milford, PA/Blue Ridge) scored the Hornets lone goal in the 86th minute, assisted by Spencer Nagle (Windsor,NY/Windsor) and Philip Youngs (Otego, NY/Unatego). Tyler Hinds (Vestal, NY/Vestal) had 4 stops in goal for SUNY Broome.

The Hornets fall to 1-3 on the year and the Hawks improved to 6-1. Up next is a home match this Saturday against North Country CC at 3:00 p.m.
