Softball Makes It Eight Straight

The softball team improved to 8-0 today sweeping a doubleheader from Niagara County CC by scores of 4-2 and 7-1 at BAGSAI in Binghamton, NY. Kelsey Gannett (Endicott, NY/Union-Endicott) picked up the win in game one to improve to 4-0. In game two, Laura Knight (Conklin, NY/Susquehanna Valley) earned the win and also improved to 4-0. Knight struck out eight and homered in the winning effort. McKenzie Martin (Deposit, NY/Deposit) also homered in the second game for Broome (8-0).

The Hornets will host Finger Lakes CC in another Region III doubleheader tomorrow at 1:00 p.m.
