The softball team prevailed over Genesee CC 8-2 Tuesday afternoon in Batavia, NY. The second game of the doubleheader was cancelled due to rain. Kelsey Gannett (Endicott, NY/Union-Endicott) hit a two-run double and struck out five to secure the win. MarTee Kolpakas (Binghamton, NY/Binghamton) was 2-4 with an RBI to help the Hornets improve to 16-3.
Broome will face Tompkins-Cortland CC this Friday at 3:00 p.m. at the BAGSAI softball complex on the SUNY Broome campus.
