The SUNY Broome volleyball team cruised past Elmira College JVs 25-8, 25-6, 25-12 Friday evening in the West Gym. Alyssa Beck, Saige Hupman, Nicole Weeks and Danielle Gorman played their last home game for the Hornets. Alyssa Beck had 5 digs and 3 kills. Saige Hupman led the team with 4 aces. Danielle Gorman tallied 5 kills and 3 aces while Weeks had 2 digs, 2 aces and 2 kills. Amanda Buchta had a solid night dishing out 26 assists along with Ashleen Speen who led the team with 14 kills.
The Hornets play next Saturday to finish up their pod play at Corning Community College.
