Hornets Come Up Short On The Road

The women's basketball team fell to Davis College, 65-56, in a non-regional game Wednesday evening.  Broome went into the half down 28-25, after putting up just 7 points in the 2nd quarter.

Kasey Krewson hit four of the Hornets nine 3-pointers to lead the visitors in the scoring column with 14 points. Julianna Mushalla and Isabella LoVuolo each chipped in with 11 points each, and Miya Ritchie came off the bench for 9 points.  Mushalla had a double-double in the game, adding 10 assists to her line.  Krewson led Broome in blocks with 4, and Anna Hotalen had 8 boards to go along with her 4 points.

Up next is the home opener for Broome next Tuesday at 6:00 P.M. against Columbia-Greene.
