The women's basketball team fell to Onondaga CC, currently ranked #5 in the country, by a score of 78-49 on Wednesday night in Syracuse.  The Hornets trailed by 2 after the first quarter before the Lazers responded with 25 points in the second for a 39-24 halftime lead.  Onondaga come out of the half for 24 points in the third while Broome went cold, putting up only 7 points on the board.  The visitors fared a little better in the last quarter, coming out on top 18-15, but the 49 points scored by Onondaga in the middle quarters were to much for Broome to overcome.

Anna Hotalen posted another double-double in the contest with 20 points to go with her 16 rebounds.  Julianna Mushalla and Isabella LoVuolo chipped in with 9 points each, the former adding 5 assists and the later 3 blocks in the game.

Broome travels to Auburn on Saturday for a matchup against Cayuga CC in their last MSAC contest on the road, scheduled for a 1:00 P.M. tip-off.
