The women's basketball team fell to Onondaga on Tuesday night in the Baldwin Gymnasium, 81-56, in a MSAC contest.  The Lazers, currently sitting in the 5th spot in the NJCAA's latest poll, got out to a quick start and never looked back.  The visitors took a 50-24 lead into the locker room to end the first half.  Broome responded in the second half for a 32-31 advantage but the 26 point cushion Onondaga built in the first was to much to overcome.

Anna Hotalen posted her third double-double in a row, leading the Hornets in scoring with 16 points and having a monster night on the boards with 22 rebounds.  Julianna Mushalla had 13 points, 6 boards, 7 assists and 3 steals while backcourt mate Isabella LoVuolo also had 13 points. 8 rebounds, a couple of assists and 7 blocks.  Kasey Krewson chipped in with 8 points, 4 boards, 3 assists and 5 blocks.  Onondaga was led by Sydni Eure and Caitlyn Connolly with 17 points each.

Broome falls to 7-9 overall; 1-2 MSAC while Onondaga improves to 11-6 overall; 2-0 MSAC.

Broome will host another MSAC game this Thursday at 5:00 P.M. when they take on the Spartans from Cayuga CC.
