Jackson picked up right where she left off last year as a freshman at the SUNY Poly Short Course Invitational this weekend. The sophomore posted a time of 17:59.7 in the field of 58 runners, good enough for a 2nd place finish behind SUNY Oneonta's Megan Francoeur and one of two runners to complete the course in under 18 minutes.
