The women's cross country team traveled to Delhi on Wednesday for the 25th Annual Bronco Classic 5K.
Sydney Valez led the Broome runners with a 9th place finish and a time of 31:04.00. The 31:04.00 showing for Valez is more than 37 seconds faster than her time at the Hornets' previous meet, the Bridgeman Invitational.
Broome will next compete in the Mid-State Athletic Conference Championship on Saturday, October 21, hosted by Corning Community College.
