The women's cross country team traveled to Cobleskill on Saturday for the Steven A. Ward Invitational. For the second week in a row Aja Jackson placed 2nd in a field of 50 runners to lead the Hornets with a time of 24:32.68, the third fastest time ever recorded on the course. Jackson cut off a little over a minute from her showing last year. Broome finished 6th overall out of the six teams running.

Next up for Broome is the Bridgeman Invitational in Canandaigua, hosted by Finger Lakes CC.
