Men Pick Up 4th Win

SUNY Broome men's soccer team picked up their 4th win of the season on the road against Corning CC with a convincing 11 to 1 win. Broome had eight different goal scorers.  Minh Chau (Johnson City, NY/Johnson City) opened up the scoring one minute and thirty seconds into the match with a well struck free kick from 23 yards out.  Ismar Turkovic (Binghamton, NY/Binghamton) put in the second goal with Charlie Desforges (Kent, UK/Swadelands) on the assist.  Noah Kozecke  (Endwell, NY/Maine-Endwell) scored the third with a diving header on a cross from Bennett Miller (Binghamton, NY/Binghamton).  Pedro Marcano  (Barinas, VE/Nuestra Senora del Pilar) had the fourth goal with Damian Rutan (Cincinnatus, NY/Cincinnatus) assisting to finish out he first half.
 
Turkovic grabbed his second of the game two minutes into the second half off another Rutan assist on the goal. B. Miller scored three minutes later, Rutan again with the assist.  Deforges notched his first goal of the game in the 58th minute, and bagged his second a minute after that. Both goals, once again, assisted by Rutan.  Raynier Huggins (Willemstad, Curacao/Marnix College Cas Cora VSBO) grabbed his first of the season, the teams tenth goal of the game off an assist from Marcano in the 77th minute.  Virgil Isenia (Willemstad, Curacao/St. Jozef VSBO) scored his first of the season and Broome's last goal of the game in the 82nd minute.
 
The Hornets improve to 4-0 on the season and will finally get on their home field this Saturday at 3:00 P.M. for a match against Niagara County CC.
