Men Fall To NJCAA's 2nd Ranked Team

The men's soccer team fell to Genesee CC on Saturday in a MSAC matchup on Alumni Field by a score of 6-0. The Cougars got on the board early and often in the contest while the Hornets struggled at both ends of the field. Genesee's defense kept Broome in check, allowing no shots on goal.

Andrew Buckler, Owen Moretin, Nicholas Ragonese and Daniel Martinez were kept busy all afternoon on the defensive side of the ball and Dean Patterson saw increased minutes and played solid in goal for the Hornets. Broome falls to 0-3 while Genesee improved to 1-0.

Broome looks for their first win this Wednesday in Sanborn where they will face Niagara County CC in a Region III contest with the kickoff scheduled for 3:00 P.M.
