Men Fall On Road To Region III Power

The men's soccer team fell in Utica on Friday night to Mohawk Valley CC, 8-0, in a Region III soccer match. The Hawks, currently ranked #5 in the latest NJCAA poll, put up 6 goals in the first half and were never challenged by the Hornets. Yuri Brich worked both sides of the ball and had three of the four shots by Broome while John Serafini, Aaron Salisbury and Nathaniel Wojcik added one shot each. Enoch Stephenson came in the match in th 23rd minute to finish the game in goal and stopped five of the eight shots he faced. Mohawk record remains unblemished at 6-0 and Broome dropped to 2-6.

The Hornets travel to Canandaigua on Sunday for a 2:00 P.M. MSAC match against Finger Lakes CC.
