Soccer Wins In Auburn

After a four-game stint at home, the Hornets returned to the road Wednesday to face Cayuga CC, and came back with the 8-1 win.  The Hornets (5-1-1) were led by Allison O'Shea (Marathon, NY/Marathon) with her second hat trick of the season and Jordan McGinnis (Endwell, NY/Maine Endwell) led the team with 4 assists.  

Goalkeepers Jolene Krom (Sidney, NY/Sidney) and Paige Finch (Kirkwood, NY/Susquehanna Valley) came out of goal to have a goal apiece.  Also scoring goals were McGinnis, McKenna Williams (Chenango Forks, NY/Chenango Forks) and Mackenzie Gravelin (Sidney, NY/Sidney).  The Spartans lone goal came from Meaghan Westmiller in the second half. Broome dominated in shots on goal, 37-2 and corner kicks 8-1.

Broome will host another MSAC opponent in Jefferson CC next Wednesday at 4:00 P.M. at Alumni Field.
