Broome scored their first goal one minute into the match and never looked back, defeating SUNY Adirondack 10-0 Wednesday afternoon on the road. The Hornets controlled things from the start as Hannah Faulkner picked up her second hat trick of the year, including the game winner at the 1:05 mark. Finding herself free in the box Faulkner received a perfect cross from Alissa Franco and promptly put the Hornets ahead to stay.
Eight players figured in the scoring led by Faulkner's 3 goals and, Chloe Brauer and Katelynn Griffiths added 2 goals and an assist each. Broome recorded their 6th shutout of the season while running their record to 9-3 overall; 4-1 MSAC. Leria Compeau picked up her first collegiate win in net for the visitors, stopping all four shots she faced.
SUNY Broome next travels to Buffalo on Friday for a 2:30 P.M. contest against the Erie Kats, currently ranked #1 in the latest NJCAA Women's Soccer Poll with an 11-0 record.
