Volleyball Drops Home Match

After winning the first two sets against Jefferson CC, the volleyball team dropped the last three in a MSAC match Wednesday evening in the West Gym.  Broome won the first two sets 25-11, 25-22 before losing the next three sets, 18-25, 18-25, 11-15.

Lauren Carpenter (Vestal, NY/Maine-Endwell) led the defense with 33 digs, while Kaitlin Manley (Willet, NY/Cincinnatus) had 21 kills with a hitting percentage of .429 tonight, she also had 13 blocks.  Taylor Hessler (Endicott, NY/Union-Endicott) had 36 assists and Rayna Pouliot (Syracuse, NY/Onondaga) had 4 aces.

This weekend the Hornets will head out to Corning, NY for the Corning CC POD tournament and face Hudson Valley CC, North Country CC and SUNY Adirondack.
