Hornets Compete In Cardinal Classic

Khala Gray-Motto was the team's top placer on the weekend, placing 6th overall in the women's long jump with a distance of 5.44 meters. Carly Hein joined Gray-Motto in the long jump, going for a distance of 4.87 meters.
Ava Schiff led the Hornet sprinters in the women's 100 meter dash, crossing the line in 14.78 seconds. Riley Precourt followed with a time of 14.95; then it was Amber Neumuth with a season-best mark of 17.80 seconds.
Schiff also competed in the 100 meter hurdles, running a 19.48; and the triple jump, jumping a distance of 9.49 meters. Precourt ran 31.58 seconds in the women's 200 meter and logged a season-best time of 1:14.18 in the 400 meter.

The team will next compete in the NJCAA Division III Region III Championship meet on May 3, which is hosted by Herkimer College and will take place in Little Falls, NY.
