Four Women Named All-Region; Schiff Named Region III Women's Field Athlete Of The Year

NJCAA Region III has announced its women's track & field All-Region recipients and individual award winners, and several SUNY Broome athletes were highlighted.
Ava Schiff was named the 2025 NJCAA Region III Women's Track & Field Field Athlete of the Year. Schiff won the women's heptathlon and the 100 meter hurdles at the 2025 NJCAA Region III Championships; in addition to placing 3rd in the triple jump, 5th in the shot put, 6th in the long jump, and 7th in the javelin throw. Her Regional Titles in the 100 meter hurdles and the heptathlon placed her on the Region III All-Region team.
Joining Schiff as All-Region selections were Khala Gray-Motto, Carly Hein, and Gabriella Vazquez. Gray-Motto won the women's 200 meter dash; Hein won the long jump and triple jump; and Vazquez won the discus throw at the 2025 NJCAA Region III Championships.
