The women's basketball team fell to Onondaga CC, 83-62, in the Baldwin Gymnasium on Wednesday evening in a MSAC matchup.  The Hornets stayed with the NJCAA's 8th ranked Lazers in the first quarter, trailing by only 3 points before Onondaga came out in the second for 25 points and a 44-25 halftime lead.  Broome fared better in the third, outscoring Onondaga 18-15 but the 16 point lead heading into the final frame was too much for the host team to overcome.

Vivian Ladd led all scorers with 24 points to go with her 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks.  Miya Ritchie joined Ladd in the double digit column with 13 points, Anna Hotalen came off the bench for 6 points and 9 boards, and Ashley Barnhart also came off the bench to contribute 4 points and 6 rebounds.

Broome will host Cayuga CC this Saturday at 1:00 P.M. in a key MSAC contest with both teams vying for a spot in the Region III Tournament.
