The Hornets dropped their last game of the regular season to Jefferson CC in Watertown on Tuesday by a score of 64-52.  Broome started the game off with an 11-0 run but Jefferson made a run of their own to trail 15-14 at the conclusion off the first quarter.  The Hornets trailed by 5 points at the end of the second and third quarters to keep within striking distance but the Cannoneers' trio of Eyles, Raven and Crosby proved too much down the stretch.

Vivian Ladd led all scorers with 21 points and added 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and 5 blocks to her totals.  Calista Smith posted a double-double with 11 points and 15 rebounds, Kori Thornton chipped in with 9 points and a couple of assists, and Miya Ritchie had 6 assists and 5 points.

The Hornets will enter the 2020 Region III Division III Tournament as a #9 seed and will travel to #8 Hudson Valley CC in Troy on Saturday for a 1:00 P.M. Sub-Regional game.  Broome, winner of the first meeting back in January, will look to keep their season alive and advance in the Region III Tournament to take on the #1 seed, North Country CC on Tuesday.
