SUNY Broome was swept in Syracuse by Onondaga CC Sunday afternoon 10-0 in game one and 10-1 in game two.
The Lazers won the first game behind a one-hitter from Brittany Sears. Meagan Malarkey was the only Hornet batter to reach base. Justina Ellis was the losing pitcher for Broome.
In the second game Onondaga outscored Broome 10-1. The Broome score came in the second inning when Bree Stinson reached first base on a single. Karisa Sheriff laid down the sacrifice bunt to move Stinson to second. Kayla Miller then doubled into center field to score Stinson.
Broome's next double header is this Monday against Delhi at the BAGSAI Softball Complex at 3:00 p.m. in Binghamton.
