The softball team was swept by Corning CC Thursday afternoon, 16-1 in game one and 13-3 in game two at Red Barons stadium. SUNY Broome's only run came in the last inning when Delaney Zizak singled and was brought home by a double from Jenna Flannery.

Game two started out better with for the Hornets jumping out to a 3-0 lead which they held through The first two innings.  Karisa Sheriff was responsible for 2 RBI's when she singled up the middle and Justina Ellis brought home the other Broome run with a single. Things went south in the fourth inning however when Corning scored 7 runs off of 4 hits and a walk.
