Volleyball Earns First Win

The volleyball team earned their first win of the season sweeping Corning CC by set scores of 25-20, 25-10 and 25-15. Jaylen Bennett led the offense with 8 kills on 10 attempts and Casie Kephart and Katarina Frommert were close behind with 7 kills apiece. Kephart had 6 aces and Bennett chipped in with 5. Gabriella Bishop anchored the defense with 9 digs and Anna Tiberia had 22 assists. Kephart and Bennett each recorded 1 solo block and 1 assisted block in the contest. The Hornets now stand at 1-2 on the year.

Broome travels to Herkimer this Saturday to play Herkimer College and Mohawk Valley CC in their first POD of the season.
