Charles Larrabee, Holden Isaac, and Jasik Dhillon registered shots for the Hornets but could not find the net. For the home team, on the other hand, eight different players tallied at least one goal for the Cougars.
After being bombarded by 13 goals from the unwavering offensive attack of Genesee in the first half, goalkeeper Dean Patterson did not allow a goal in the second half. He had 12 saves on the day.
Now sitting at 0-7 on the season, Broome will look to collect its first win of the year on Wednesday when it hosts Hudson Valley at 3:00 PM.
