The Hornets got their seventh shutout of the season 8-0 in a Region III matchup Sunday on the campus of Plattsburgh State against Clinton CC. After a slow start the Hornets caught fire in the second half to secure the 8-0 victory. Julia Dorber started the scoring early by heading in a cross from Rosemary Zelenyak. Jordan Shepard-Loucks followed up with two first half goals but the Hornets went cold after that. The second half started with Shepard-Loucks' hat trick goal early followed by two by Zelenyak and one each from Renee Kashou and Kourtnie Gooding.
The Hornets travel to Troy, NY for another Region III contest starting at 4:00 p.m. against Hudson Valley CC.
