vs Finger Lakes

Broome dropped their MSAC opener at home on Thursday night against Finger Lakes CC, 85-54.

The Hornets struggled to find their shooting touch, converting only 18 of 67 on field goal attempts, good for 27%.  Many of those missed shots turned into easy transition baskets for a speedy Finger Lakes squad.

The lone double digit scorer for Broome on the night was Christian Sage with 18 points.  Tron Smith pulled 12 rebounds, to go with his 7 points and Quartus Steika added 9 rebounds and 5 blocks.

The Hornets continue MSAC play on Saturday at 2:00 P.M. against Tompkins Cortland CC in the Baldwin Gymnasium.
