The Hornets came up short Wednesday night against MSAC leader Onondaga CC by a score of 90-70.  After holding a halftime lead of nine over the NJCAA's 8th ranked team, 40-31, Broome was outscored in the second half 59-30.

Tron Smith led the way for the Hornets in scoring with 23 points, he also added 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals.  Quartus Steika contributed a double-double with 18 points and 12 boards, with 2 blocks, Christian Sage also scored in double figures with 14, and Marvin Lopez came off the bench to add 9 points and 6 rebounds.
 
Broome is back at home on Saturday at 3:00 P.M. to face MSAC opponent Cayuga CC.
