Hornets Dominate At Home On Sophomore Night
SUNY Broome received 82 points from its starters as the Hornets pulled off a dominant 108-75 victory on Wednesday.

Three of the five starters scored 21 points or more, and then Broome added a productive 26 points from its bench as all active players had an opportunity to check into the game.
The Hornets' leading scorer on the year, Antonio Maria, led the charge in this one with 24 points on 9-15 shooting. He also grabbed four rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and a steal. Connor Green logged his 14th double-double of the season with 21 points and 11 rebounds, also chipping in an assist, a steal, and a block. Antuan Darden was the third Hornet starter to score 21+, totaling 21 points, six rebounds, three assists, and a block.
Amauri Truax had 11 points and seven assists. Rodney Kendrick II, seeing just his second game action of the year, scored eight points on 4-5 shooting, and pulled down three rebounds, routinely turning defense into offense. Dejon Williams had seven points and seven rebounds. Ponce Williams had six points, two rebounds, and four assists in the win.
Sophomores Maria, Darden, Green, and Kendrick II were honored before Wednesday's game with the Sophomore Night ceremony.
The win moves SUNY Broome to 9-13 on the season. The Hornets own a 7-5 record in conference play and, with two games remaining in the regular season, have an opportunity to improve to an 11-11 record in Region III play. Next up is a home game vs Genesee on Saturday.
