
Men's Basketball Lands Four On All-Conference Teams

Four members of the SUNY Broome men's basketball team received All-MSAC selections. Antonio Maria and Connor Green were each named to the Second Team All-MSAC, Amauri Truax was named to the Third Team All-MSAC, and Antuan Darden was picked as an All-MSAC Honorable Mention.
Maria was the Hornets' leading scorer this year with averages of 14.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. He scored 20 or more points in nine games and reached his season-high of 24 points four times.
Green averaged a double-double with 14.1 points and 11.0 rebounds per game while shooting 41.3% from the three-point line and 77.6% from the free-throw line. He recorded a double-double in 15 of 24 games this season.
Truax averaged 13.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game while shooting 33.3% from three-point range and 75.5% at the free-throw line. Truax had five games with 20 or more points, including a season-high 26 points on 9-16 shooting vs Fulton-Montgomery CC. He also recorded a season-high nine assists vs SUNY Adirondack on November 16.
Darden averaged 12.4 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game. He eclipsed 20 points in three games this season, and compiled six double-doubles, including a monster performance on November 23 of 22 points and 19 rebounds.
