The women's basketball team defeated Herkimer County CC 75-43 Saturday afternoon in a Region III matchup. The Hornets jumped out to an early lead and never looked back en route to their fourth win of the season. Caity Kuhnen (Binghamton, NY/Binghamton) led all scorers with 26 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Lucille Dellos added 15 points, 4 assists and Kimberly Santiago had 14 points and 5 assists. Maddie Blackman (Conklin, NY/Susquehanna Valley) had another big night on the boards with 13 rebounds while teammate Chandler Prouty (Oneonta, NY/Milford) had 8 points and 9 boards.

The Hornets improved to 4-4 overall and face nationally ranked Mohawk Valley CC this Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. in the Baldwin Gym.
