Women Fall To NJCAA's 5th Ranked Team

The women's basketball team fell to the nations 5th ranked team 52-31 Sunday afternoon in the Baldwin Gym. The Hornets went into halftime trailing 26-21 to the Hawks but went cold in the second half scoring just 10 points, 6 of those 10 points came from the free throw line. Caity Kuhnen (Binghamton, NY/Binghamton) had 14 points and Brooke Gipe (Poland, NY/Poland) added 10 points and 7 rebounds.

Broome will face Jefferson CC this Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. in their last home game of the season. The Hornets will turn around and face the Cannoneers again this Friday in the Mid-State Athletic Conference Playoffs at 7:00 p.m. in Syracuse at Onondaga CC.
