Chandler Prouty and Caity Kuhnen were named NJCAA Region III Co-Athletes of the Week for their efforts last week.

Sophomore Kuhnen helped the Hornets get off to a 2-0 start in conference play and improve to 7-4 overall. For the week she averaged 28 points, 12 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 3 blocks per game despite seeing defenses focus on her. Against Finger Lakes CC, Caity had a collegiate high of 29 points.

Freshman Prouty scored her collegiate best 24 points on Thursday against Finger Lakes CC and followed that up with a 22 point performance on Saturday against Tompkins Cortland CC. In the Hornets two wins Chandler averaged 23 points per game and 11 rebounds per game.
