Women's Soccer Team Drops Home Opener

The Hornets fell 4-0 this afternoon to Finger Lakes CC at Alumni Field in Broome's (1-1) home opener. The Lakers balanced attack saw four different players find the back of the net. Bailey Smith, Cayli Carmoni, Hannah Dalle and Natash Hyland each scored for the 3rd ranked team in the country according to the latest NJCAA national poll.

The Lakers (2-0) held the advantage in both shots, 12-10, and corner kicks, 7-1. Ariel Roys had seven saves in goal for SUNY Broome.

 Up next for the Hornets is a 4:00 p.m. road game in Utica, NY against Mohawk Valley CC.
