Abby Godbout scored with 3:13 left in the first overtime as SUNY Broome defeated Jamestown CC 2-1 in a home women's soccer game on Saturday at Alumni Field. The Hornets (2-2) held an advantage in shots 9-7 for the game and the Jawhawks had the advantage in corner kicks7-2. Freshman Danielle Tyrrell tied the game at 1-1 in the second half. Linnea Anderson netted Jamestown's only goal of the contest in the first half. Both goalkeepers defended for all of the 96:47 of the game and each had four saves but Ariel Roys took home the win.

Broome travels to Herkimer, NY on Tuesday for a 4:00 p.m. contest against the Herkimer County Generals.
