The SUNY Broome women's soccer team traveled to Herkimer, NY on Tuesday afternoon to take on Herkimer County CC and came home with a 2-0 victory over the Generals. Danielle Tyrrell scored both goals for the Hornets (3-2) and goalie Ariel Roys held the seventh ranked team in NJCAA Division III scoreless with 5 saves. Tyrrell's first goal came off an assist from Emily Icenogle in the first half while her second goal was courtesy of Abby Godbout and Miranda DeSanctis. Broome outplayed Herkimer in shots on goal, 22-5 and corner kicks 2-1.

Broome is home this Saturday for a 1:00 p.m. game against Cayuga CC and the men will follow with a 3:00 p.m. scheduled start.
