Women's Soccer Extends Winning Streak To Six

Marisa Valdes scored two goals and Kate Fagen added another as host Broome CC topped visiting SUNY Delhi, 3-1, to improve to 10-3 in a  women's soccer matchup Thursday afternoon.

The Hornets scored first  when Katelyn Simpson set up Valdes with a corner kick. Fagen's goal also came in the first half to give Broome a 2-0 halftime lead. The Bronco's Ty Klinkley cut the lead in half before Valdes scored her second goal of the game.

Ariel Roys had five stops for the Hornets and Annie Millar had seven saves for the Broncos (8-5-1). 

Broome will host Jamestown CC-Cattaraugus at 1:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon in the final home game of the season.
