Women's Soccer Wins On The Road

Danielle Tyrrell scored three goals as SUNY Broome topped host Erie CC, 4-1, to improve to 8-3 on the year in a women's soccer matchup Saturday afternoon. Katelyn Simpson added another goal for the Hornets and teammates Abby Godbout and Kelsie Gooding each had an assist.

Tyrrell's hat trick was her second of the season, the first came last Thursday against Jefferson at home.

The Hornets goalkeeper, Ariel Roys, made five stops and allowed one goal against the Kats while her counterpart, Lindsey Boling, had six saves in net. Broome held the advantage in both shots (13-7) and corner kicks (4-0).
