Volleyball Improves To 3-0 With Third Sweep

The volleyball team defeated Onondaga CC Tuesday evening in Syracuse by a score of 3-0, making it their third straight set sweep in a row over their MSAC opponents. The Hornets improved to a 3-0 record with set scores of 25-7, 25-11, 25-16.

Sara Zepkowski (Owego) had 10 kills with a .500 hitting percentage, while Katherine Bennorth (Wanaque, NJ) contributed 5 kills and a .417 hitting percentage with zero errors. Mackenzie Struble (Owego) had a total of 21 assists and Melissa Carden (Vestal) finished strong with 3 blocks. Savannah Davis (Union-Endicott) led Broome with 13 digs and Megan Carden (Vestal) followed close behind with 12 digs.

The Hornets will take on Erie CC in Buffalo this coming Saturday at 1:00 PM.
