The volleyball team kept their winning streak alive by sweeping Genesee CC on Saturday in Batavia by set scores of 25-18, 25-10, and 25-11. The Hornets advanced their record to 11-0, dropping just three sets all year.
 
Melissa Carden (Vestal) led the team offensively with 8 kills and an impressive hitting percentage of .538. Teammate Sara Zepkowski (Owego) had an awesome offensive game as well with 7 kills and a .500 hitting percentage. Zepkowski also led the Hornets in blocks, totaling 4 for the match. Macey Gibson (Owego) led the Hornets defensively putting up 12 digs, while Mackenzie Struble (Owego) had 27 assists for the match and 9 digs. 
 
SUNY Broome will have their last home match of the season this coming Saturday against Corning CC in the West Gym beginning at 7:00 P.M.
