Onondaga outscored Broome 30-7 in the first quarter and did not look back, handing the Hornets their largest loss of the season.
SUNY Broome's top two active scorers, Sophia Ashman and Lillian Monroe, each had eight points and were the high scorers for the visting team. Madeline Hyzer and Zephora Brouillette had seven rebounds a piece. Every player who saw action in the contest for the Hornets scored.
Broome drops to 2-12 and 0-6 in MSAC play with the loss. It is a quick turnaround for the Hornets as they will be back in action on Saturday at Genesee CC.
