The men's soccer team defeated visiting Tompkins Cortland CC 1-0 Wednesday afternoon in their last regular season game. The Hornets scored early into the contest as Nathan Mansfield (Hopewell Junction, NY/John Jay-East Fishkill) crossed the ball to Alex Brownell (Franklin, NY/Franklin) who took a touch and fired the ball into the net for the 1-0 Broome lead. The contest was well battled between both sides throughout the entire game.

Broome (11-5;3-3 MSAC) await a playoff seeding to find out if they earned a first round bye in the NJCAA Region III Division III Championships. The game will be played either Saturday or Wednesday.
