Broome used a decisive second half to pull away from SUNY ESF enroute to a 78-59 non-conference win last night in the Baldwin Gym. The Hornets went on a 10-2 run at the end of the 1st half to give the host team a 34-29 halftime lead. Chris Smith (Queens, NY/Newtown) filled the stat lines with 17 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals, Shameek Brown (Brooklyn, NY/Boys & Girls) had 19 points and Adolphus Butts (Harlem, NY/James Hubert Blake) added 18 points.

SUNY Broome will travel to SUNY Delhi this Friday to take on the Broncos at 7:00 P.M.
