Ana Farahane, a freshman point guard from Binghamton, earned Region III Player of the Week honors for her performance last week against Onondaga and Cayuga.

Farahane led Broome to a 66-62 win over Cayuga CC on Thursday. Her collegiate-best 39 point night included 76% shooting from the field (13-17), 100% from the arc (6-6) and 100% from the charity stripe (7-7). In addition to her impressive stats from the field, she also notched her 10th double-double in 14 games with 13 boards. She also posted a double-double against Onondaga CC she had 10 points and 12 boards with 6 assists.
