The men's basketball team hosted Onondaga CC on Wednesday night and delivered a convincing 99-72 win in front of a large Hornets crowd.

The seats in the Hornets' Nest were filled with students having returned from winter break this week, and Broome used the support of the home crowd to march out to a 26 point lead at halftime and a 27 point win. Five players scored in double digits for the second game in a row. Six players grabbed at least four rebounds and five players had at least three assists.

Connor Green was scorching hot from the field, shooting 12-14 and 6-7 from three-point range in a 30 point, 10 rebound double-double explosion. Axell Camacho-Cintron shot 5-10 from three-point range on his way to 19 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals. Quavir Coleman also shot an efficient 7-11 from the floor and ended with 17 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 steals. Joseph Miller had a big game off the bench for the Hornets, scoring 12 points and adding 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Jean Senatus also scored 10 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.

Broome shot an exceptional 54.9% from the field and 53.6% from three in the win, grabbing 41 rebounds, dishing out 26 assists, and collecting 14 steals. The Hornets forced 13 Onondaga turnovers.

Broome will look to bring the momentum from this dominant win into a 6:00 p.m. home bout with Herkimer College on Friday. Herkimer is 18-1 and ranked #3 in the NJCAA Division III men's basketball rankings. The Hornets will look to play behind another strong home crowd on Friday, so any and all students and fans are encouraged to attend and support the team as they go for three wins in a row.
